I’ve reached an exciting point in this book publishing journey — both paperback and hardcover are available to purchase!
The biggest change to what some test-readers may have seen in an earlier iteration is to the title! I’m now calling it the “System Redesign Handbook for a Humane Era” to be super explicit in letting people know what the purpose of the book is. I’ve also rearranged things a bit, written a totally new introduction, and will be talking about the Collaboration Card and how to use it throughout the book. It has also been thoroughly reviewed by an editor, who has helped tremendously with consistency and capitalization, etc.
What’s next?
- Email newsletter – In the future, I’ll be emailing regular announcements about any events or publications or podcasts where I get to talk about the book or systems related news of interest. Sign up for the list here.
- Local events – I’d love to partner with any groups or organizations who need a speaker, so send them my way! They can email me here: systemredesigner@richard-creative.com.
- Podcast conversations – I’ll be reaching out to everyone quoted in the book, as well as others whose work shares a similar viewpoint. I’m hoping to be a guest on as many shows as possible to discuss all of the details and my thought process.
- Other versions – Ebook and Audiobook are both in the works and I’ll announce when they are available at system-redesign.org.
- Website downloads – the resources and collaboration card are available to download for FREE for anyone who adds their email address to my mailing list. Hopefully this can start a community of people who are all interested in editing systems for human thriving. Click here to complete the form for access to all pdf resources.
- Merch – I’ve ordered some giveaways as well as some items that I’ll be offering for sale on the website soon. Will be rolling those out as I get them in hand.
Please feel free to share this news with any friends or colleagues who you think might be interested. I’m excited to be putting this out into the world!
